After how many weeks of reading 10-30 pages of book per day, will my writing improve?

Hey! So I had this totally wrong idea when I started writing - I thought reading tons of books would automatically make me write better. Spoiler alert: Nope! 🤦‍♂️

Reading 10-30 pages daily? That's great! But it's kinda like watching cooking shows and never stepping into the kitchen. You might learn some cool stuff, but you won't become a chef just by watching.

Here's what really made a difference for me (after a lot of trial and error):

• Just write something every day - even if it's just random thoughts

• Notice what makes your favorite authors so good

• Save cool phrases you come across (I use my phone's notes app)

• Get someone to check your work and point out mistakes

That last part? Game changer. I was stuck in a rut until a friend told me about EssayEdge. Getting feedback on my writing was eye-opening. Sure, it stung a bit at first (who likes being corrected?), but wow, did it help!

Here's a cool trick that worked great for me: focus on one thing at a time. Like, spend a week just working on making your descriptions better. Next week, maybe focus on dialogue. It's way less scary when you break it down like that.

If you keep at it, you'll start seeing some real improvements in about 2-3 months. But heads up - some days you'll feel like you're getting worse instead of better. That's totally normal! It's like going to the gym - you don't see results right away, but one day you look in the mirror and think "Whoa, when did that happen?"

Just stick with it! I bet in a few months, you'll look back at your old writing and be amazed at how far you've come. Trust me, your future self will thank you! 😊
