No, absolutely not.
Webnovel is a predator. If you sign with them, your contract gives them complete ownership of your story, including the right to get rid of you and hire a different writer to write stories in your universe if they want to.
You also give them ownership of anything you may write in the future. And you give up any right to audit their books or check their sales figures; they pay you whatever they want and you voluntarily agree that you have no right to check their figures.
This contract actually wouldn’t be legal under US law, it’s so predatory. However, when you sign, you agree that the legal jurisdiction is China, that the prevailing law is Chinese law, and that if you dispute the contract, you must do so in China.
I’ve said this before, but it’s worth saying again:
Whether you’re a beginning writer or a seasoned pro, whether you write niche nonfiction or mass-market fiction, never sign a publishing contract before you email

This free service helps you avoid scammers, vanity presses, and publishers with poor reputations who are listed on the Writers Beware list of predatory book publishers.
