I think it makes room for concentration.
You’ve probably heard it already: Writing keeps your thoughts organized and I think it’s true, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that your ability to concentrate on a single task will improve.
The way I feel after a writing session is like I have just unclogged my brain. Especially if you do it in the morning.
It is as if there is a bottleneck for all the ideas and thoughts that are running through my brain and if I take the time to unclog it by writing, they can flow much more easily.
That’s why I think writing daily makes room for concentration, but doesn’t necessarily imrpove it.
