Here's a rather simple yet deceptive trick employed by criminals:
In parking lots, these robbers select their target vehicle and place an empty plastic bottle between the tire and the car's body, typically on the right side (or left side if the car is right-hand drive).
They then wait patiently until the owner of the targeted car returns and starts driving. As the car owner begins to move, they are startled by an unusual sound – the noise of the bottle bursting or cracking. Since the bottle is on the opposite side of the car, it becomes difficult to identify the source of the noise.
Curiosity gets the better of them, prompting the car owner to step out of the vehicle and take a brief walk around it to investigate the cause of the noise.
At this very moment, the thief seizes the opportunity. The entire car is unlocked, the driver's door is wide open, the engine is running, and the driver has exited the vehicle.
This is when the thief strikes, either by pilfering valuables from the car or making a swift getaway with the entire vehicle.
This deceptive trick is not only simple but also perilous. In some cases, it can escalate into a dangerous chase, putting lives at risk.
Please share this information widely so that more people become aware of this cunning tactic. If even one person can avoid falling victim to this scheme, it will be a worthwhile endeavor.
