I want to improve my writing. What AI or app would you recommend? I want it to correct my grammar, suggest better options and answer my questions. Is Grammarly better than AI (like Chat GPT)?

Here’s what I just read:

“I want to use something less than a moron to make me write better.”

Seriously?

None of the Bots are up to moron level yet.

They are barely Autocorrect version 2. And still just as bad at it.

You don’t improve writing skills by using a dumb bot.

You improve by writing a LOT. By getting it critiqued by other writers in a group, by getting it professionally edited, and professionally proofread.

THEN you learn from all the feedback you get by discovering what you do repeatedly that needs changing, and why you do it.

As you write more, and get more feedback, so you improve.

You don’t improve by having autocorrect v2 change things for you.

You improve by writing and publishing a million words as fast as you can do that with some degree of quality presentation.

You improve by DOING, not using.

If you have questions, join an author forum or Facebook genre author group. Most of the answers you need have already been asked.

If you start to rely on dumb bots now, you will never move beyond that.

How bad they are will limit how good you’ll ever be.
