In 10 years of my journalism career, the most invaluable piece of writing advice I've ever received is to - 'write like a reader!'
Before penning down a single word, I ask myself two critical questions:
- Would I read this?
- Does it capture my interest?
If it doesn't hold my attention, it's unlikely to captivate others.
Writing with the mindset of a reader ensures that my work is not just well-written but also engaging, creating a connection that resonates with the audience.
