I’ll give you a reason why, because it is.
No matter how creative you are there will always be a limit to what your mind and body can handle, even if you love what you do. writing out a scene, then reading it, editing it, reading it again, editing it again, this constant loop is what drains a writer of their creative energy. This also doesn’t include any research that needs to be done before writing, say for example you’re writing a historic piece, well you need to make sure you have all your facts correct before you publish it.
Any writer worth their salt knows that writing will always be a chore, but still love it anyway.
