How do we know what the Etruscans wrote if their writing is not deciphered?

Since decipherment is assisted by comparison of cognates, difficulties exist since Etruscan was linguistically isolate. Bilingual documents which might assist are likewise scarce but in fact a translation exists in Latin setting out the Etruscan religious code.
