Realistically, how long do you as a serious professional screenplay or fiction writer, work every day? When does the creative energy just run out, and you call it a day?

It depends on whether or not I’m on a roll. Usually my goal is a minimum of five pages, and it really depends on how well the work is flowing. Those five pages can take eight hours or two.
