Finally I can officially say that “I can draw”. 🥹
I've been learning to draw on and off for about a year. And I had given up many times.
Though I still enjoy making simple line art or pattern design but I wouldn't consider that as “a real drawing”.
Besides, I can make 3D art, so it's more than enough for me as a way to turn my imagination into reality.
But recently, I've made some good enough 2D renders which I'm so proud of. It's nothing huge, to be honest. I basically just created some basic shapes and added shading here and there. But it was HARD!
I crafted each line carefully. It wasn't random and wasn't simple (like my pattern designs).
It took me hours to finish it.
But still, even if I could draw fully, I still wouldn't utilize it as my main art style.
My main style is still 3D. I'm not gonna create anything huge in 2D. My drawings will just become my new creative way of making graphic design. I'm not gonna use it for creating a huge scene, characters or props.
I'm more into graphic design when it comes to 2D stuff.
