Is a successful business a skill or luck?

I'd argue that it's mostly skill.

The majority of the clients I see either have a lot of knowledge in their industry or are very capable.

There are occasional circumstances where people have got lucky - for instance we had the kid who created Weird Whales NFTs come to us…some might call that luck to do so well.

But these circumstances are very infrequent.
