Isn't it pathetic to read on a site that is supposed to promote culture and knowledge in an era of genetic understanding, questions that repeatedly call into question evolution?

Yes. Part of the problem is this. We have on this site an extraordinarily prolific Creationist troll - or he may in fact be an atheist trying to make Christians look bad, I’m not sure. Either way, he’s just one pathetic little squit of a guy who only feels validated if he’s being a nuisance, but he has made literally thousands of accounts bombarding the site with at least ostensibly pro-Creationist questions. His ur-persona calls itself Billy Flowers, which is the name of a dead American white supremacist.

Meanwhile, we also have the Quora Prompt Generator, a chatbot AI which seeds Quora with more questions to keep the dialogue flowing. But the QPG learns what sort of thing to ask from what’s already on there: it’s just a glorified autocomplete with no actual intelligence or understanding. Pro-Creationist questions, nearly all written by this one guy, flood into its Inbox so it “thinks” that’s what’s wanted and starts asking Creationist questions of its own. So now we have Creationist questions flooding in from two sources - one sad little mentally ill dweeb and one automated bot.
