What are your thoughts on early retirement?

I quit my job at 41, and went back to school, but never stopped working at age 77. My thoughts 🤔 on early retirement are aimed at lessening daily stressors over long periods of time, like the eight years between ages 62 and 70.

Simply put, I value my HEALTH over MONEY. So, it was early retirement at 62 for sure! It was not by a whim or an accident that I came to that conclusion. Heart disease is the #1killer of Americans, and STRESS is known as the silent killer of many. When coupled together, they make for a LETHAL combination!

I believe in statistical death numbers over the SSA actuarial tables because of the eight year gap of RISK data not shown to garner those larger checks. The average age of death in this country remains steady at 73.5 for males, and 79.3 for females.

The wager is longevity and the prize is good HEALTH, not deep pockets!
