(Some) Jelly fish are only immortal under 1 technicality. They don't die of old age. They can meet their demise as the result of their environment and other marine life, but old age wont kill a jelly fish. Some when they get “elderly” revert and transform back to their most basic “infant biology” and “start life all over again” . (Think of in mario when you're full sized and get hurt then turn into smaller mario)

I say “some” and not all because i truly am not confident in which jellyfish this pertains too , but i know for sure its possible in a small handful. Yall are welcome to do some intuitive googling to fact check me. No hard fellings. Im just answersing from the comfort of the break room toilet anyways.
