If we were to gain knowledge of everything in the universe, would that lead to enlightenment or existential despair?

The question which is fundamental of spiritual journey :-

Who am I?

Includes all that makes you up as what you are today.

The experience of limitlessness comes from questions like this…

If we were to gain knowledge of everything in the universe, would that lead to enlightenment or existential despair?

Gaining knowledge of the universe is an integral part of the question - Who am I?

We as humans have this question ingrained in us. This is not a spiritual question this is an existential question and also a way to experience limitlessness.

Where have we come from?

Is there life on other planets?

Do aliens exist?

What will happen when sun will die?

Shall we ever find other home like earth?

Without getting the answer to these questions one can't get from here to there.
