Lately, I read some of my old answers and feel like it wasn’t my best effort and delete them. Is that a good or bad idea, from your perspective?

This is interesting. When I see errors/shortcomings, I try to improve text. Editing is always possible except in answers given for spaces. That is one of the reasons I prefer to write answers for parent questions too. That provides me with an opportunity to edit freely.

In case I see a question that has been labeled as collapsed, I try to correct and request for its restoration, if that is tenable. There are a couple of collapsed answers that I preferred to delete.
