A2A
Please leave the child alone, Abraham Kwabs. At 4 he is unlikely to have developed the fine motor coordination that writing requires. He is also, as you point out, left-handed. Lefties often struggle as they learn to write and many parents and teachers try to force them into right-handed habits.
He is eloquent? Talk to him using good vocabulary. He has an amazing memory? Learn poems by heart and recite them with drama. Start on the alphabet, colors, numbers, simple arithmetic. Play wonderful music of all kinds for him. Watch sporting events together. Take walks and identify the trees and flowers in your neighborhood.
Do give that bright little mind plenty and varied exercise.
But DON'T get ahead of Nature's arc and insist he practice skills he is simply not ready for.
It's not what interests you that matters. It is what interests him. Don't get in his way.
