Has anyone ever written a book from beginning to end?

This is a dumb question - obviously, millions of people have done it because millions of books exist!

But I will just say this. I have written and self-published my autobiography. It took me YEARS to write it and a lot of help to get it into shape. It is NOT as easy as it looks!!! Personally, I found it really hard work!
