Synopsis: The story begins with the willing suspension of disbelief by our heroine that when she meets her soulmate they will of course be together forever. As the story gets some age on it, the willing suspension of disbelief is still there on the edges, shored up by calculated lies from the “hero".

And it's an O'Henry ending. LoL 😂
