Other answers have pointed out that after this many people have vanished, only about 750,000 people would be left. That’s cool because I survived and didn’t die. So I’m happy with that.

I’m going to be unusually real instead of my usual self. A lot of other answers are talking about how they would react when they woke up and making it like a story, but I don’t want to do that because then it’s not different and it probably wouldn’t even be good. Waking up for almost everyone would be the same; realize everyone is gone, panic, try and find someone, fail, eventually find someone, attempt to rebuild society, fail.

What I would do is rob houses. It’s still illegal, but you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to survive, and looting some houses may be the difference between life and death. You can get money, clothes, food, supplies, and hey, possibly keep the house if the owner’s dead. It’s a place to stay, regarding how nice or expensive it is, before society can rebuild itself. If it rebuilds itself.

Now that I’m thinking more like Zombieland, I know I would definitely want a teammate. Teaming up with someone would be pretty beneficial, that way if worse comes to worse, I have someone to sacrifice.
