Yep, and I’ve been doing it since the beginning of the Pandemic.
I was doing it on Fridays before COVID-19, but since then I’ve been 100% remote, even though my work office is only about 10 minutes away by car.
The only skills I have are knowledge of software engineering, which I’ve been doing for the last 30+ years. The four-year degree in Software Engineering helped there. And I know how to use email, and attend and participate in online meetings.
The only hardware I need are a (company-issued) laptop computer and a high-speed Internet connection.
Maybe I’ll keep working this way until I retire.
