You can hire people to do it for you.
You can learn to sew for your fashion business.
You can learn to sew and still hire people to sew for you too.
Any of these is a valid undertaking, it just depends on your goals for the the business and perhaps, the business model itself.
As a solo entrepreneur, you can learn to sew yourself and then offer your service directly to your clientele. Some benefits of this are that, you have the hands-on knowledge of the business/product and thus, know your business more in-depth. Much of the income or profit you make also stays with you as you probably will be having no employees to pay. You also manage your processes personally and have better control of the quality or results.
Of course, scaling will become a challenge to you in this model as you will be unable to accommodate more customers or orders and thus, limit growth to a certain minimum.
Like I said, it all depends on your goals for the business.
If you desire a business that grows, you will need to hire others. If you desire a business where you work “on" and not work “in", you will need to hire others.
Determine what your business goals are. Those should inform you on the actions to take.
Best.
