Quite honestly, I do not think it is the difficultly level, it is more the “interest” level, at least for me it is. When you, or when I was in school certain subjects just caught our interest and we absorbed everything we could about those subjects, got straight A’s in them etc., but other subjects, perhaps science or math, we failed at, we just were not that interested and had to force ourselves to study just enough to actually pass the class. I remember back when I was in the 8th grade, the entire grade was terrified of the last semester because it was the one you absolutely HAD to pass, or you would not go into high school . That subject was the Constitution, and I mean the kids shook with fear of that semester, and of course, so did I. Then, for whatever reason on the first day of class, my interest was sparked, and I looked forward to learning more and more, I just could not get enough of this “Constitution” the other kids were whining about! I was getting A’s left and right while most of them were barely passing with a C, it is because I was “Interested” . So as I said, it is only difficult if you are not interested, because sure you can learn, but you will never pay close attention to detail, and that detail is what you need to be able to sharpen your knives correctly. People are not dumb, they just are invested in something else.
