What is the meaning behind someone saying "you're so talented" in response to something that required little effort or skill but brought joy?

Apparently, I am maladjusted to the linguistics of this society. I have attempted to answer many questions, but often find myself completely inaccurate in the presentation of the ambiguity of the original question to begin with.

Apparently, I require specific articulation of somebody’s question, so that I can fully understand and answer what they are asking. This apparently is my shortcoming.

I will try to give an example and I hope this is what you were trying to ask, as to me this is again, an ambiguous and not specific enough question for me to know exactly what you’re asking.

The first time I went ice-skating, I felt myself about to fall, but due to some martial arts training when I was young, I didn’t fight against my fall, I leaned into it. The result was, I did a 360 and begins skating backwards. I immediately thought I was going to fall again, and I did another circle. I started realizing I had some sort of natural interpretation of the physicality required to stay upright and somehow it looked like I was a professional skater. I didn’t do any McTwists or 540s or jumping spins or any of that-whatever the hell, but I didn’t fall, and I soon became comfortable in standing upright and switching from backwards to forwards and doing spirals and spins, etc. It all started with the fact I didn’t want to fall and I didn’t fight the natural inclination to stay upright. when I was finished, I was told How amazing I had skated. When I told them this was my first time, they were all pretty noticeably pissed, to be honest. But did it bring me joy? Fuck yeah. if you’re good at something, work at it. If it brings you joy, that’s the only thing that matters. Sing dance and laugh in the name of the Lord. I’m not a Bible thumper, but I do have strong spirituality and gratitude for my creator. We are here to create and enjoy and be grateful and to love one another. hope this answered your question. being good at something should never make you feel guilty. Even if you are naturally adept at it.
