I want to increase my social skills. What are some tips that you have?

Social Skillls are the skills which is use of tone , gesture , verbal and precise communication and in a certain manner . Communication with family , friends and work colleagues is different with a certain tone , certain words and phrases , the level of warmth also fluctuates with all background of people you’re dealing with .

Some people also state they are introvert , ambivert and extrovert when u speak about social skills however shy an individual but if the interaction is respectful , Reciprocative and positive then the social skills will keep growing to new heights .

1 Respectful - Any individual of any status , culture and class deserves to be respected and appreciated because everybody is born for a reason and they deserve their due .

2 Reciprocative - Any individuals usually gets turned off by one word answers giving them a hint that you don’t like them , so whoever be it , as per environment , being reciprocal is really crucial.

3 Positive - Be assertive mostly in all sensitive settings which requires to be positive and even if the negativity hits it should be put out in a way the message is reached , understood and communicated well . Example - Saying your parents U hate them might get the situation tensed and filled with angst . Later U say these things made it hurtful for me .

4 Watch Tone - Watching out your tone and modulate as per people , setting , time , situations etc and be extra cautious to use the right tone at the right time .

5 Frame Correct Sentences before using - We often meet people who we say they don’t know what they talk . Make sure that category doesn’t have your name . Be very thoughtful about the word and sentence structure while using any communication .

6 Expressions and Gestures - Make sure the verbal and non verbal communication are in sink and leads to correct message and confuse the person .

Social skills are how you treat people and by understanding their nature one can decide of how close or away does one get .
