First and foremost, we must free ourselves from mental slavery, as it hinders anyone from engaging in independent thinking.
We should read books, contemplate their content, and strive to live a life of wisdom-seeking students. Conduct research, analyze history, and seek solutions.
Examples of mental slavery include:
Limited learning coupled with excessive eating & sleeping
Limited development alongside excessive earning, spending
Limited time for introspection, overwhelmed by distractions
Limited personal thinking time, excessive engagement in everything else
Critical thinkers, on the other hand, behave differently from mental slaves. Higher-order thinkers straightforwardly analyze the situation: if our forefathers were mental slaves, then our parents likely are too, and thus, I might also be one unless I break free. This freedom is achieved through relentless, unbiased research, deep analysis, and striving for justice.
