These days, training is often recorded which makes it easy to review to seek any areas that might need reworking, tweaking or assessment. You can provide the material to a supervisor and ask for their interpretation as to the effectiveness.

Or you could do the traditional surveys or questionnaires to see how audiences reacted. You can also email participants in a timely manner to find out what their takeaway was from the training. A twist on this could be to send a question to participants asking them what they would do differently if they were in charge of this learning experience.

Another possible way to do this is to ask a couple of the participants to convey to the audience what they learned from the experience. You will be surprised what people will say.
