How can you use your talents and skills to help in your church or community?

(I Corinthians 12:18-19) Paul's comparison of the church to the human body is quite vivid. God has placed the various and diverse parts of the body together for a purpose, namely “life.” As the individual member conteplates his/her role in that purpose, by reading and meditating on God's Word, by prayer, and by fellowship with the other members of the body, that special “role” (service) will be recognized by the individual, as well as the other members. When clearly seen, approach those whom God has appointed to lead (pastor, deacons, elders, teachers, etc.) and offer that service as to the Lord Himself (“Lord, what would you have me to do”?).
