Could you tell me about learning new skills?

Learning new skills have taught me discipline and consistency. It taught me how to be intentional and how motivation works into a certain level. For example now, I want to learn more about a new career I have been curious ever since. I needed to look for a reliable source where I can get more information what roadmap is best for me and what resources I can use to further my learning. It take me some time to come up to my decision still the best thing for me to do is to learn fundamentals first.
