If they try to ruin your reputation, you remain unbothered and don’t defend yourself anxiously. You know that their plan might backfire, and the narcissist senses that things aren’t going their way.
In the end, you’re not afraid to reflect the narcissist’s actions back at them. Just like a mirror, you show no emotions. When dealing with a narcissist, stay just as emotionally neutral.
