What are the things you can never live without?

After almost losing my life to smoke inhalation in 1993 when my apartment caught fire while I was asleep, waking up to complete darkness and the irritating sensation of thick black smoke in my eyes limited my visibility. As a result, I now ensure to keep a flashlight by my side every night, providing me with a sense of comfort knowing that I have a reliable light source in case of a power outage.
