Use flattery , but what you say must align with what the person naturally feels and thinks about themselves.

Try to imitate other people's speech, behaviour and manners in order to fit better into their environment.

Listen properly to what the person is saying , then rephrase it , and turn it into a question. So that it confirms that you understand them.

Nodding regularly during a conversation with the person you want to win over, will make you extra convincing
