Why did Jehovah not want Adam and Eve having the knowledge of good and evil?

Adam and Eve had an abundance of food and only the one tree they were told not to eat from it. Following that simple command showed love and respect to the heavenly creator Jehovah. Look at the mess we're in today knowing good and bad.

Thankfully Jehovah's purpose for rectifying man's shortfall mentioned at Genesis 3: 15 came into effect.

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He will crush your head, and you will strike him in the heel.”

This is a prophecy about Jesus being struck in the heel in 33 CE and then becoming King of Jehovah's Kingdom government. Soon he will remove Satan for a thousand years and after releasing him for a short while to test those on Earth, Jesus will crush him. No more Satan. Then a great praise will come out of heaven and Earth thanking Jehovah for everything he has done.
