Why was god so mad at ‘The Watchers’ in the Book of Enoch just because they taught people things? Why does this god think that knowledge is evil?

I believe it was as simple as they took humanities innocence. By giving us knowledge we weren't ready for, we were effectively robbed of our “childhood” as a race.
