How did Muhammad acquire knowledge about science without formal education?

The Quran has about a thousand verses that discuss many natural phenomena that align with contemporary scientific discoveries, such as the universe, biology, embryology, and other natural phenomena. These verses encourage reflection and understanding of God's might and knowledge.

Indeed, all scientific phenomena mentioned in the Quran are proof that the Quran is the revelation from god to the Prophet, not the result of the Prophet's academic education. Therefore, whether or not the Prophet was knowledgeable about science is irrelevant.

A few verses that describe cutting-edge scientific phenomena are presented here:

"Praise be to God, Lord of the Universes ( or multiverse)." ( Al Quran# 1:2)

This verse refers to the current scientific discovery that there are countless universes.

" Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe." ( Al Quran# 21:30)

This verse alludes to the Big Bang.

"AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and, verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it." ( Al Quran# 51:47)

This verse discusses the expanding universe, a phenomenon that Edwin Hubble first observed in 1929.
