Ik for one it isn’t Mono-racial.
In the North of it there are the Amazigh, Arabs, Copts and other native subgroups.
West and Central it is most made up black people, spanning Afro Asiatics like the Hausa, and the broader Niger-Congo people, and Bantus. Cape verde is an outlier because it was mostly made up of mixed people.
East Africa has Bantus, Nilotes, Habeshas (Ethiopians, Eritreans), Somalis, Arabs (Sudan), Indians (Mauritius, Kenya) and Creoles (Seychelles), which similar to cape verdeans, are mostly mixed people.
Southern Africa might be the most diverse, encompassing the native khoisan people, bantus, white locals, Indian locals, East Asians and Malays, etc.
