Hello,

I wanted to share some fascinating facts about the human brain:

- The human brain is the most complex part of the body.

- It only makes up about 2% of our total size.

- There are 100,000 miles of blood vessels in the brain.

- When we learn something new, new neurons develop in our brain.

- The brain is divided into two hemispheres: the right side and the left side.

- The brain is more active during sleep.

- The adult brain weighs about 3 pounds, which is roughly the size of a grapefruit.

- Contrary to popular belief, we actually use 100% of our brain, just not all at once.

- The brain consumes 20% of our energy.

- The amount of brain activity depends on the specific activity we are engaged in (e.g. solving a Rubix cube, coding, or studying for an exam).

- The right side of the brain controls the movement of the left side of the body, and vice versa for the left side of the brain.

- Neurotransmitters are brain chemicals that communicate information between the brain and the body. Malfunctions can lead to various disorders and anxiety.

- As we age, the volume of the brain decreases and blood flow decreases.

- The brain is capable of learning new things throughout one's lifetime, which is influenced by exercise and the constant pursuit of knowledge.

- Short-term memory loss becomes more common as we age.

- The brain has three main parts: the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brain stem. Each has its own functions, such as emotions, memory, problem-solving skills, coordination, balance, and connecting the brain to the spinal cord.

- Sir Albert Einstein's brain is preserved in the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia.

I will add more later.

Good luck!
