Not to overthink it. You don’t need to over prepare yourself to have locs. The less products the better and the more natural the product the better for healthier locs. You Only need to moisturize with oil and water. If you’re going to use harsh chemicals to color your hair be very careful and do your research first. Don’t get the touched up too often or put too much tension on be sue it will weaken the loc shaft causing breakage. It’s best to just overall leave them alone and let them grow. Low maintenance no more than 1month…. You’ll be just fine.
