Are you allowed to have an opinion on something you know nothing about?

Well sure…

But you are not obligated to have an opinion.

So ask yourself… how many people seem foolish because they become invested in an opinion they formed without knowing anything about the subject… as opposed to the number of people that wait to form an opinion depending on how much they can find out, and may still avoid a conclusion until they know more? One of the examples is very common, and definitely more numerous… and the other fairly uncommon. So which would you say is likely to be wise?

A lot of people seem to think they are less intelligent if they don’t have an opinion about everything.

But that’s not my opinion.
