Do you disagree with online education?

Do I disagree with online education? Not at all. If anything, it’s a fascinating shift. Education no longer means four walls and rows of desks. It’s gone beyond that, reaching people where they are—literally. Imagine a student in a rural town or someone balancing a job and family. Online learning has cracked open the doors of opportunity for them.

But, like anything, it has its limits. Real human connections and hands-on experience? They’re hard to replicate on a screen. In fields where practice or debate sharpens the skill, online education might lack the intensity of a live classroom. Yet, in theory-based studies, or courses that focus on technical skills, online learning excels. The discipline it teaches, too—nobody’s holding your hand through an online program. You learn to manage yourself.

In the end, it’s about balance. The best education is a blend—mixing in-person experiences with the reach and flexibility of online learning. For many, it’s an option worth exploring.
