Lumosity? Jeez, that’s a blast from the past! Remember when everyone was going crazy for those brain games?
So yeah, I totally fell for the hype. Spent hours playing those little games, thinking I’d become some sort of brainiac. Spoiler: didn’t happen.
Don’t get me wrong, the games were kinda fun. And yes, I got pretty good at them. But did it make a real difference in my life? Nah, not really.
So I’ve been messing around with something new lately. It’s called The Genius Wave. It’s… okay, imagine if your brain could chill at a spa. That’s sorta what it feels like.
It’s just audio, right? So I can put it on while I’m doing whatever. And I gotta tell ya, I feel pretty sharp. Like, I’m tuning in better and ideas are just flowing. Maybe it’s all in my head (ha!), but it seems to be working.
But here’s the deal - there’s no magic pill for this stuff. It’s probably best to mix it up. Do some puzzles, learn new skills, talk about cool stuff, all that good stuff.
What I’m saying is, just keep your brain busy in different ways. That’s probably the best “workout” you can give your brain.
But hey, that’s just me rambling. What do you think about all this brain training nonsense?
