Seniors, what online resources have you found most helpful for continuing education or learning new skills?

I always make the same recommendation: try your local library first. My library, which serves a major city, has dozens, if not hundreds of online courses for free. It also offers lectures and classes for free, or at a nominal cost. I start there.

The next place is the continuing education departments of my local universities and colleges. Sometimes senior citizens get a reduced fee for tuition or may be able to audit a class (attend class, but no assignments, tests, or exams are permitted).

Check out meetup.c o m for your locations. There are dozens of meetup groups where people are coming together to learn new skills

And then YouTube. I’m re-learning to knit from YouTube after being away from the craft for over 40 years.
