My advice is:
1. do one that is accredited by either AACSB, ACBSP, or IACBE.
2. Try to find one that does not require gmat/gre and a bunch of hoops to jump through. Plenty of schools waive gmat/gre now.
3. Look for one between 30–36 credits. You will find MBA programs that require a ridiculous amount of credits ranging from 42–60 hours. This is expensive, stressful, and time consuming. If you work a full-time job and have responsibilities at home you will not have 4 years to sacrifice doing this. Ideally, you want it to be done as fast as possible.
I found a program for 30 credits, IACBE accredited, and it’s a well established state university in the state I’m living in. I just finished and there’s just NO WAY I could’ve done an MBA that was more credits than this because after 18 months I’m completely burned out. It doesn’t matter how many credits or concentrations you go for, whether it’s 30 credits or 60 credits it will ONLY say MBA next to your name.
