How does Udacity pay for nanodegrees?

Udacity offers two main payment options for their Nanodegree programs:

Pay as you go (per month): You can choose to pay for your Nanodegree on a monthly basis. The payment methods for this option are credit card or PayPal.

Pay upfront: You can also choose to pay for the entire Nanodegree upfront. In addition to credit card and PayPal, there is another payment method available for this option called Affirm. Affirm is a credit service that allows you to split the total cost into monthly payments over 3, 6, or 12 months.
